If you have a restoration you want featured here I am happy to oblige - just email me.

First I must say that English is not my primary language so please forgive me if I make some mistakes. (taken care of them - Ed) The first 4 pictures are from the Princess 2 months after I bought it from a friend. He had the bike, forgot about it, and left it in an old workshop for 5 years.
By the time I took these photos I had  already done some work.

First of all I cleaned the engine , added fresh oil and I repaired all the electrics because it had didn't have lights, battery or spark plugs. When the Princess had electrics etc it took 4 kicks to get back to life, YES 4 kick after 5 years of sitting, and the engine started like a baby. What a great feeling hearing that engine!

Then I started to get the correct info for my Princess, my first contact was Steven Adams from Kiwi who helped me a lot with all the info I needed. My first and obvious buy was the parts manual and the operation manual. With both manuals it become easier to know what I was doing. I ran the bike for about 3 months without a problem.
And then I left it in a friends workshop for about 8 months and started with the chrome and minor refurbishments.
That of course used up all my  weekends, but there is no price for the pleasure to be working on and riding a living legend.!

Two months ago we completely disassembled the Princess (it took us 1 hour, that’s the great thing, the simplicity of these bikes!) and we started prepping and painting all the metal parts and I sent the seat to another friend who did the leather work with the seat and the saddlebags.
I don't want to bother you too much so in summarizing my experience : Buying this and turning it into the beautiful bike it is today was the greatest thing that I have ever done. It is a pleasure to ride it, take care of it, work on it and meet great people all over the world like Greg.

Here are some of the latest pictures I took, some are taken in a exposition of motorcycles that is going on on my city.
It needs some more minor work to be completed and totally restored but as I said before THAT IS GREAT because it means that I still have some more friends to meet and some work to do on the Princess. Pablo.

If you ever do a restoration you will know what I'm taking about, if you haven't..... What are you waiting for ?
